I’m Nick. I work as a grantmaker at Macroscopic Ventures.

Before this, I was a student at Hertford College, Oxford, a visiting fellow at Constellation, a researcher working on institution design with the AI Futures Project, a Pivotal fellow, and a co-founder of OAISI.

My professional interests include structured transparency, AI-enabled extreme concentration of power, unitary executive theory, cooperating with those outside our lightcone, better theories of well-being, and sophisticated consequentialism.
